NOTHING WRONG WITH WRONG RAMEN

      NOTHING WRONG WITH WRONG RAMEN

Just the name tickles your curiosity, doesn't it? Jeff and I checked this place out a few days ago to see exactly what was wrong with their ramen.
The first thing I noticed was how cramped the place looked like. The tables were awkwardly separated by these bars in between. Nevermind the place though. I was excited to see what was in the menu.
                The menu.
The choices are few but everything looks appetizing.

I was planning to order the “Fu” Ramen because I heard it was the wrongest among them all but The Tonkotsu Rich was calling out to me. I decided to try Fu at a different time.

We also had “The Communist” which was very similar to the Tonkotsu in ingredients except that it’s spicy and NOT milky.

Jeff and I also tried the Chasu Rice Roll with pork inside. I didn’t like the rice cover much because it was too hard for me but I liked how fresh it felt in my mouth.

There’s not many ramen restaurant that serves crispy pata. But this one has. AND IT WAS GOOD. We DEVOURED that meat, cut it up and relished in the crispiness of its skin and softness of its meat.  This Crispy Pata can also be eaten Ssam-style where the meat is wrapped in lettuce with other condiments. The lettuce made me feel less guilty of eating the OILY, FATTY, SINFUL, YUMMY Pata.

OVERALL. I think the ramen was good although it is a little oilier than your usual ramenThe wrapped veggie a nice appetizer. It was like one of those veggie-rolls in Phohoa-slash-lumpia. The most memorable dish for me was definitely the Crispy Pata just because it was so crispy and soft and everything a cripsy pata should be like. I also liked the idea of wrapping it in lettuce to make it seem less sinful.
One of the things I can’t rave about Wrong Ramen is the size of the place. It was kind of small and cramped. I doubt the place can accommodate 80 people. It is a little pricey too (for me).
The couple that gets fat together, stays together <3

I enjoyed our date at Wrong Ramen. I would definitely go back to try the Fu ramen because even my brother MG was raving about it. It might take a while before I eat anything pork again after that pata.
Wrong Ramen is located right across Robinson’s Selections at Burgos Circle, Bonifacio Global City.
 Til my next blog!
